Nyung Ne is a powerful practice for purification and the accumulation of positive energy, based on Avalokiteshvara, the Buddha of Compassion. Geshe Ngawang Phende will lead Drepung Loseling Monastery’s annual Nyung Ne retreat.

Friday, May 29 | Introductory teachings at 7:00 pm. | |
Saturday, May 30 | Practice will begin at 4:30 am. | |
Sunday, May 31 | Mahayana Precepts at 5:00 am. The second & third sessions are scheduled for 9:00 am – 12 noon and 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm. | |
Monday, June 1 | Practice begins again at 4:30 am and the retreat will conclude by serving a traditional soup to break the fast at 7:30 am. | |
