About the global Tibetan diaspora
Since 1959, the Tibetan community has built a presence in more than 30 countries across Asia, Europe, North America and Australia.
India remains the spiritual and political heart of the diaspora, home to the seat of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama in Dharamshala and the Central Tibetan Administration. Across the West, smaller but vibrant communities preserve Tibetan language, religion, music, dance and traditional arts through cultural associations, weekend schools, monasteries and cultural festivals.
Whether you’re searching for a Losar celebration near you, a teaching by a visiting lama, or a Tibetan music concert in your city, tibetanevents.com is the global hub bringing the worldwide Tibetan community together, one event at a time.
